Kimberly ‘Kim’ Lauer joined Delaney McKinney in October 2019. Prior to joining Delaney McKinney, Kim worked at Maryland Legal Aid as a family law attorney. While there, she gained diverse litigation and mediation experience. Kim also gained valuable experience working with families to address serious mental health and substance abuse issues.
During law school, Kim participated in the University of District of Columbia’s (“UDC”) legal clinics, representing clients in DC landlord-tenant cases and Immigration Court. Kim received an Equal Justice Fellowship for her work in the UDC housing clinic. Before attending law school, Kim worked in nonprofit management and fundraising.
Kim is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, and DC Bar Association.
