Amy H. Yoon
Prior to joining Delaney McKinney, Amy worked at an AmLaw 100 Law Firm in its Business Litigation Practice Group where she focused on complex commercial litigation involving contract disputes, corporate fraud, consumer financial services, and government investigations.
Before entering private practice, Amy served for two years as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael O’Keefe of the D.C. Superior Court during which time she gained invaluable insight into the adjudication process of complex family litigation, often involving multifaceted financial and custody issues. In her second year as a law clerk, Amy primarily examined cases involving high net-worth individuals with complex financial arrangements and high conflict custody cases involving mental health or substance abuse issues.
During law school, Amy was the Executive Editor for the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law and authored a publication examining the application of federal sentencing guidelines in cases involving child sex offenders. In addition, through her work with the Public International Law and Policy Group, Amy provided pro bono legal assistance to civil advocacy groups in Syria and Yemen regarding peace negotiations and post-conflict preparations.
Amy is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, and the D.C. Bar.
